Our concentrated Chinese herbal blends carefully follow the principles of ancient Chinese Medicine that have been practiced for more than two millennia. Kidney Activator TCM is referred to as Qu shi, which can be translated as “to get rid of dampness.”  This concentrated herbal blend features hoelen, siler and astragalus roots, and other herbs that support the urinary system. For more than 35 years, we’ve partnered with the same incredible vendor to collaborate with farmers in traditional communities to bring only the finest herbs from China to the US. And we’ve conducted multiple on-site audits throughout the years to re-verify the quality of both their facility and herbs. Our farmers are deeply attached to the land they have lived on and worked for generations, and they practice regenerative farming methods to preserve it for future use.

Benefits:

  • Promotes kidney function.
  • May help clear retained water.
  • Supports the urinary tract.
  • May support joint health.

How It Works:

This formula contains the same herbs found in Chinese Kidney Activator but in a highly concentrated blend. Kidney Activator is called qu shi, which can be translated as "to get rid of dampness." Morus root bark is thought to help eliminate excess moisture. Hoelen was used historically by the Chinese to "drain dampness." Alisma is said to help promote the flow of moisture and is used in traditional Chinese medicine to support the bladder and urinary tract. According to Chinese concepts, astragalus may help to clear retained water from the body.

Ingredients:

Concentrated extract of hoelen sclerotium, siler root, chaenomeles fruit, morus root bark, astragalus root, alisma rhizome, plantago seed, peony root without bark, atractylodes rhizome, magnolia bark, polyporus sclerotium, citrus peel, cinnamon twig, ginger rhizome, typhonium rhizome and licorice root.

Recommended Use:

Take 1 capsule with a meal daily.

NOTE: May cause allergic reaction in persons sensitive to inhaled or ingested psyllium. Pregnant or lactating women should consult their health care provider prior to taking this supplement.

In Traditional Asian medicine, hoelen (Poria cocos) has been used for centuries to increase urinary flow.

Siler is a perennial herb that grows widely across northeast Asia. The dried root has been used in Chinese herbal medicine for immune, nervous and respiratory system support.

Astragalus is native to China, Mongolia and North Korea and is known as huang qi or yellow leader. This root has been used for more than 2,000 years and is still considered one of the 50 fundamental herbs of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Asian water plantain grows in still water with its leaves floating or partially submerged. This plant has been a TCM go-to for building bone strength for more than a thousand years.
